Punjab a land of five rivers , hence is a very fertile land . Punjabis popularly known as panju's have been integral part of many countries. They have their unique identity with turban on their head and wearing kada (a bangle),which was given to them as part of identity. They are courageous,so most of them are seen in defence forces. They are even doing social work which is the integral part of their religion called as SEWA. Any one who enters Gurudwara has to wear a small cloth on their head as part of respect to the divine. The word Gurudwara means house of Guru or divine.Turban is the pride of all sikhs. They are born fighters.
Punjabis have been ahead in helping the community as community service is being talked about and taught in their religion.
Many tourists visit the famous Golden Temple also known as Harmandir sahib and experience the peace of mind and tranquility. Just a few steps away is the famous Jallianwala Baug, a place that depicts the history of Indian freedom struggle.
If you happen to visit Punjab visit Golden temple and see for your self the services.Food is served to people round the clock and they have lodging facility too.
They are very jolly natured and are always ready to dance upon the beats of dhol or music. They greet each other with Sat Sri Akal by joining hands.
