Instructions and precautions for yoga exercises








 Before starting yoga exercises we need to follow some instructions and take precautions for the same.

Instructions.

  • Exercise should always be done on mattress, sheet or blanket spread out on the floor.
  • Place where you want to yoga should be neat and clean, open and well ventilated . Let it be in your room, garden, park or your terrace.
  • Always practise yoga at normal temperature. Choose the time to practise either  morning or in the evening , three or four hours after  lunch.
  • Try to practise at an appropriate time to avoid any issues.
  •  One should practise everyday but not at the time when you have high fever, have pain in any part of body or your mind is disappointed.
  • If while practising or after doing yoga you experience pain , then do not do those exercises, consult an expert.
  • Initially do yoga exercises under the supervision of you guru or teacher as they are expert to guide you properly the postures..
  • Pray before and after the practise of yoga ,as it stimulates your mind and body and keep it cool. Prayers done before is asking God to give you strength to overcome shortcomings and doing prayers after is to thank God for giving you a healthy body.
Precautions.

  • For lying in spine position, first lie down on left or right side and only after that turn on your back. Similarly while getting up, turn on your left or right and take help of your hands to sit up. Do not lie or get up directly while lying on the back. As it may cause a jerk in your spine or body.
  • Before doing exercise , its important to be in conscious state.
  • It is important to relax after each yoga practise to normalise your breath.
  • Yoga exercises done while sitting  take precaution that your head, neck  and spine are  straight.
  • All the exercises are interrelated . Every yoga exercise forms a base forthe next exercise, therefore do practise in the given series . Its just that while going to fifth floor of our house we first climb stairs of first floor then second and so on to reach our house.
  • Practise everyday but only that much which your body can sustain.
  • Practising yoga everyday is based on one's own capacity. Practise as per your capacity, capability 
  • Do not try to do these yoga exercise with force or jerks. It can be harmful..
Yoga exercises re good for all ages at it keeps your mind and body healthy and helps you to be more active and feel less tiredsome. It acts as a energy booster.
